Final Score:  Kilskyre/Moylagh 2.22 Trim 2.9

Kilskyre/Moylagh ran out convincing winners at the end of an entertaining Division 3 Hurling League match played in good conditions on the excellent Trim surface on Friday evening last.  Despite a six week break from league action the visitors raced into an early 3-point lead only for the understrength hosts to hit back to level by the 6th minute.  Following a near 10-minute scoreless spell Kilskyre/Moylagh found the range again and led 0.8 to 0.3 before Trim capitalised on a hesitant defence to net in the 22nd minute.  Both sides exchanged goals in the final minute of the first half with Daire Shine netting for the visitors to leave them ahead by 1.10 to 2.4 at the break.

Whatever was in the half time snacks for the Kilskyre/Moylagh team had the desired effect as they hit 1.5 in the first 10 minutes of the second half to effectively seal the victory with Willie McGrath getting the goal.  Despite the best efforts of the hosts to stem the tide Kilskyre/Moylagh continued to keep the scoreboard operator busy and eventually ran out deserving victors.

Best for Kilskyre/Moylagh were Jack Connell, Benji Smith, Daire and Tom Shine and Willie McGrath.
