New Community Centre kicks off with IFC Night

Kilskyre’s new Community Centre and Connected Hub got off the mark on Thursday night by participating in the Irish Film Institute (IFI) BCP Film Festival, in collaboration with the Department of Rural and Community Development.

The IFI compiled a collection of six family friendly Irish short films, all Academy Award nominees, exclusively for BCP audiences all around the country.

As well as the movies, exclusive interviews with the film directors were conducted especially for the BCP audience and were shown during the evening.

It’s an exciting time for Kilskyre, Crossakiel and Ballinlough having this state-of-the-art Meath Leader backed building with in-door Astro and Connected Hub for the community and people looking to take up remote working from the centre either on a full time or a couple of days a week.

We are having a walk through on Sunday the 19th of June from 12-3pm for anyone looking to have a look at our facility, especially any clubs interested in hiring the in-door Astro during the Autumn, Winter & Spring time.

For further information I can be contacted on the mobile.
